Role of an event organiser
An event organise would be the person who co-ordinates all aspects or the even from the beginning right through to the end, they manage everything that goes on in the event making sure it happens on time and in line with the budget. They would be in charge of preparations for the event which would include Panning, research and budgeting. Once the plan is finalised it then needs to be put into place so they would need to asses any health and safety issues to avoid problems at the event, and ensure a secure location is set for the event so all the key speakers and special guests can attend. Then at the end of it you have to tidy everything up and reflect on the event with what was done well and what would need to be improved on.
When planning a business event it needs to correspond with the organisational and legal requirements as that would have a big impact on how successful it can be, organisational requirements have been set as the organisation would have expected outcomes of the event and in order for this to be achieved then the event has to run in relation to the organizational requirements to result in a successful event. It is crucial that the event is run in consideration with any legal requirements, because if you do otherwise the authorities have the powers to shut down your event and cease all activities.
Importance of meeting organizational an legal requirements when planning a business event
If you don't meet your organizational requirements when planning your business event its likely that your event wont be the turn out you expected it to be as you drift away from the target you made. Organizational requirements would include things like to get the supplies for the event, promotional material, advertising, the roles people take up, budgeting and then production with good preparation and with this you should be able to hold a successful event. If you miss meeting these requirements then your event will drift from your plan, so unless a miracle happens you have nothing in place to stop the event becoming a disaster.
Legal requirements when planing your business would be making sure your event meets any health and safety concerns, so any structures at your event are strong and stable. When doing your event you need appropriate planning and management of an event as a legal requirement and needs to be monitored and controlled well to avoid and incidents which would hold the event organisers responsible and may result in major consequences. It would be crucial that when organising an event you have to be mindful of the management of health and safety regulations at work 1999 which requires employers to asses any health risk to the employees or any members of the public.
